AMARILLO -- The city of Amarillo will join with a Sugar Land company to bring large-scale development to downtown.

The Amarillo City Commission today directed city staff to draft a formal agreement creating a public-private partnership with Wallace Bajjali Development Partners after hearing the results of a vetting process in which staff members and a Dallas law firm scrutinized the Sugar Land company.
