AMARILLO -- At tomorrow's Amarillo city commissioners meeting, one of the things they'll be considering is $2,260,000 combination tax and TIRZ revenue certificate of obligation.
Part of the funds are going to be used for the Potter County restoration project.
The street scape portion of that project will receive $745,000.
And the rest of the funds are going to be used for similar projects that the TIRZ board has discussed.
But what kind of projects are in the future?
"Land scaping, pedestrian lights, new drainage work, hard scape type work, side walks drainage, that kind of a thing," said Kelley Shaw, Amarillo Planning Director.
Shaw tells Pronews Seven specific locations of those projects are still up in the air. (full story)
